Michael Bell is President and Chief Executive Officer of Curian Capital®. In this role, he has senior management responsibility for the strategy and direction of the company. Previously, Mr. Bell served as a member of senior management in Jackson National Life’s (JNL’s) distribution organization. Mr. Bell joined JNL from FOLIOfn, Inc., a financial services technology company, where he served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, and was charged with managing the finance and accounting, legal and regulatory compliance, human resources, and administrative functions. Prior to that, Mr. Bell was a corporate finance attorney for Latham & Watkins and a certified public accountant for KPMG. Mr. Bell is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. at West Virginia University. |
Eamon J. Twomey, Senior Vice President of Operations, Curian Clearing LLC |

Eamon Twomey oversees Curian Clearing LLC. In this capacity, he manages all of Curian Clearing’s trade processing, clearance and settlements. He also has management responsibility for the Curian Care Center. Mr. Twomey has extensive management experience in clearing operations, risk management and equity brokerage trading. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for Curian’s parent company, Jackson National Life Insurance Company®, where he managed several strategic initiatives. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Twomey played an instrumental role in successfully building and developing Curian Clearing in its early years. Prior to that, he worked for BlueStone Capital Corp. in the Operations, Syndicate and Trading departments. Mr. Twomey earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Marist College in New York and is a graduate of the Executive MBA program from the University of Denver. |
Lewis J. Dellarco, Jr., Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, Curian Clearing LLC |

Mr. Dellarco, Jr. is responsible for Curian Clearing’s compliance with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Rules and Regulations as well as the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. He came to Curian Clearing from FOLIOfn Investments, Inc. As Director of Compliance for FOLIOfn, he was responsible for ensuring the organization was in adherence with regulatory rules, securities laws, and firm policy and procedure. Prior to that, Mr. Dellarco served as the Assistant Director of Business Program Support at the NASD. While there, he was the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the prestigious NASD Regulation Inc. President’s Award. Mr. Dellarco earned a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from James Madison University. He also is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute, the Securities Industry Association’s premier leadership and management education program, at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. |
Jeanine Starr, Vice President, Curian Clearing LLC |

Ms. Starr manages various Curian Clearing operational areas. She has been in the financial services industry since 1993, specializing in cash management, risk management, fraud prevention, accounting, and project management. Ms. Starr joined Curian Clearing from Merrill Lynch, where she managed multiple projects focused on client service, employee satisfaction and process efficiency. Prior to that, she spent seven years in management with Merrill Lynch’s Cash Management Support Service group. Ms. Starr holds a bachelor's degree in business management and is a certified human resources manager. Additionally, she is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and certified Treasury professional. |
